Ford Mustang (1964-1967)

Ford Mustang was introduced in April 1964. The car was built on the model Falcon. The first version of the Mustang was practically the same size as the Falcon. Many parts of the Mustang were from Falcon and Fairlane models. In 1965, there have been few changes to the exterior, such as changing color range of the body and interior, and a few design changes, as the introduction of new engines, more powerful than in 1964. In 1965 appeared a GT package, offering a stiffened suspension, four-speed gearbox, a more powerful engine, and changes in appearance suitable vehicle much more sporty. 1965 was also a year when the first Mustang Shelby converted the company - tailored to the needs of the racing Shelby GT-350, which was more than just a sporty Mustang. In 1966, there are minor exterior changes, mainly in the appearance of the radiator grille. The car is also equipped with a powerful engine and increased range of additional accessories (there are now 70). Auto is slightly wider and longer, making the interior becomes more extensive.
